  9.  @muhlenberg2608  So... My fathers side had not come over just yet. They where still in England. On my mothers side, the Cencaboughs, had been in the country for about a decade and a half by then. My great great great grandma Gwendolyn came over from Ireland with her 3 young boys and her father, who died 2 years later. They worked in a candy shop in New York. One they also lived above. When the time came, all 3 boys went. 2 came back. My great grandfathers dad didn't come back.... But he was the oldest and fathered twin boys before he left. One of which was my great grandpa who went on to also have twin boys. One of which was my grandpa. He ended up joining the Navy with his twin brother, Peter, who died in WW1. My grandpa came back and met my grandma K, who served as an army nurse. Also full blooded Irish.... They didn't end up having my mom, her twin and their youngest daughter, My aunt Kelly, till later in life, after my grandpa got back from a short stint captioning his own Sub in WW2. He ended up having one of his legs crushed. As well as, part of his left hand. When my mom and her sisters got old enough they joined the Air Force. Then she went on to have the first child in the next generation. My big brother, and only sibling. He joined the Army at 17 and has fathered 3 children and done 3 tours. 2 in Iraq. 1 in Afghanistan. He past his 20y 3 years ago. My niece... His oldest... Wants to be a Marine. My son... And only child... wants to join the Army when he gets older, like his Uncle RT. That's just the service on my mothers side.... But all of that including your comments begs the question... What in the world does that deflection of yours have to do with what we where just talking about? Does our families service somehow erase the fact that when America had almost unfettered access to states rights, we got things like decades of slavery?
