@Curunir I'm a single mom who worked for jobs before the shutdown. I'm strapped just like everybody else. Which is why I want to do every single thing I can to make sure this is over as fast as it can be. What they are doing is the opposite. Which is why it's irresponsible for the president of the United States to cheer them on.

@Curunir Seriously? You don't get that they're wrong? They are wrong. The Constitution itself has Provisions for states of emergency. A worldwide pandemic is kind of the state of emergency. If they want it to stop sooner, they have to listen to The Experts. They are literally making it worse. That's what I say. No your option is, suck it up for a little while longer or a lot longer. The economy goes along with the illness. You want it to stop sooner you have to stay in. You want the economy to recover sooner. Stop stretching it out.

But due to science and the study of history, we know that there has ALWAYS been a second and more deadly wave, in part, due to people dropping their guard and going back out to soon. We know the infection rate will only rise with further exposure, Which will in tern, take longer to get ride of, which will in turn take longer for the economic recovery.... So you are painting a picture that is scientifically and historically incorrect.... And once more... It's down right selfish! Do you think you will be the only ones dying or getting sick? How many of your friends and family will you get sick? How many of them will die because you felt better going back to work then sitting home? You want to tell yourself it's one way, so you can justify your actions. Except science and history... Experts say differently. It is as simple as that.... Bad apples? Wow! You mean all those elderly people who used to make sure you have food on your table and a roof over your head, policeman to come to your door and firemen and EMTs... Or how about those immune-compromised children... All those bad apples that you're so willing to sacrifice. Your sick.... Your sick already.

@Curunir what are you talkin about sources? Stay-at-home orders? All over the country. 6 feet apart orders? All over the country. Why? Do you think that's just for s** and giggles? You just made a very good argument as to why people need to stay home now. The longer they don't listen to The Experts, the longer this will go on. Why? Because the wider spread it will be. The more people that will be infected. There's already been proven that there are many asymptomatic people out there. Which is why we need worldwide testing. If you want to go back to work sooner. Push for worldwide testing. It's basic common sense! The more it spreads, the longer it will take, the longer the economic recovery will take. We haven't even hit the historical second-wave yet.... you want to get to the point where money isn't worth anything anymore, keep going out when experts are telling you to keep your ass at home. The economy can last... By itself for 6 to 12 months, AGAIN... According to the experts. That is without help from other countries or going to more drastic measures. Which is why it is important to minimize the spread now.

Also the CDC is not in charge of every country. So I'm not entirely sure what you think the CDC was supposed to do to stop all these countries from doing things that perpetuate the disease, like you're trying to do. Would you prefer to the CDC to have Almighty power to come into every country and tell everybody what they need to do at all given times?
