Don't worry. Capitalism fails in all ares. The only reason it is somewhat functional is because we the people are forced to subsidize all of the companies in our heliosphere while also having to shoulder all of their losses.<

@happyland4524 Norway is a socialist country with some capitalist aspects still. Switzerland profited from all the Jewish money they have been hoarding while fascists and nazis were busy killing the people who originally owned that money.

@Frank22164 "Businesses don't need to be subsidized": They sure as heck do. They also get multiple tax breaks. "to say "all" is a gross exaggeration.": It's not. Just like banks, corporations are too important to fail in our capitalist system, so whenever they go into crisis, our politicians step up and save them with our taxpayer money. Happens every single time.

No, they shouldn't, because ultimately everything is being financed by tax payer money and should be owned by the people. In fact, most of the research is done by universities.
