I get where you're coming from, but a lot of voters think age per se isn't an issue, so I'm not surprised. Personally, I think we need upper age and term limits in and for all public offices.

@gurusmurf5921 "a cognitive test for anyone seeking office regardless of age": Oh, I'm all for that. However age is still a huge concern. We have people in all kinds of public offices that dut to their age alone aren't even fit to be walmart greeters, let alon pulic officials ruling over us all. It's especially worrying considering that with the US' thendencies to play world police (both good and bad cop) this doesn't remain a self-contained issue, because it affects the entire world. People over 80 years should hold no public office. Additionally the SC needs both age and term limits.
