You can't stop anybody from using the internet. Blaming this on the parents is ridiculous and shows your lack of reason and intellect. Back when toys were dangerous and people, most of them kids, died, companies wouldn't just pay for their crime, they'd go out of business for their malpractise and rightfully so.

They can just use another device, like their friend's phone or a computer at a library. There are many ways to get around. Besides, forcing this would be like the countless attempts to prevent teens from having the good ol' in-and-out (aka abstinence only). It never works. It is one of mankinds biggest failures of our entire existance throughout time. It's much better and more effective to teach kids and teens a responsible way to handle anything that is connected to some type of net, be it the internet, an intranet or whatever. Same like safe s€x and prevention.
