With the way the trial went down, the mistakes the prosecution made and the verdict that found Kyle not guilty of any charges there is little chance they'd get anything out of suing him. If it goes bad, Kyle can sue them for diffamation like Nick Sandmann did with the Washington Post, who then settled for something in between hundreds of thousands and hundreds of millions of dollars.

Should she have warned him not to go (if she even knew about his plans)? Yes. Can you blame her for what happened if she wasn't involved? No.
