  1. "but when he was in his prime, his show was hugely popular! And everyone would talk about it the next morning.": The same thing is said about Bill Maher. Both started out as conservative libs, but have stuck to their views while time has passed on and more research has proved them wrong. Now they are both just boomers with sh!tty views holding us back and keeping us down. Can't stand either of them anymore.

  3.  @spinflux  Bill Maher is empirically wrong on most of the things he claims, which is why I can't stand the guy. He also blames people for things that aren't their fault - like poverty for example - and then berates them whenever he doesn't agree with their life choices, but chooses to completely ignore how global capitalism impacts us all and makes necessary resources and expanses for our lives (water, food, housing, ...) more expansive than they used to be back in his youth.

  4.  @nickmccoy1475  @nickmccoy: I'm not defending Howard at all, just to be clear. Bill Maher has a couple of shining moments every once in a while, but he stopped making sense (assuming he ever did make sense) when he started looking down on workin class people. All he does now is culture war and capitalist classism.
