Most people start to adapt accents from the places they live in in just a couple of years. If you're not a professional linguist, you won't even realize that your own accent has changed until you return to the place you were born in and people mention you sounding strange / off to them.

  12.  @comet1227  PS: She also had 4 kids in the meantime and her entire in-laws are Danish / Scandinavian. (Ofc all of those speak English, but when she came in she was expected to learn the language if she ever intended to be queen).
