Meanwhile in Europe his son, his wife and he himself would have all been covered by the single payer health care system and much likely would have had zero expenses, because asthma, due to it being chronic, is fully covered and also because in Europe there are no middle men between doctors / pharmacists / whatever and the patients. The US needs to do away with the health insurance scam and go full single payer M4A.
