  1. Fellow teacher here: For starters we should force so many years of school onto people. Where I come from it takes 13 years to get a high school diploma, but most of the students there are already sick of school after 6-8 years (around middle school). Let's be honest: Most students aren't capable of even going to high school, let alone college, but all students are prepared for just that. This is a huge issue. We need more trades, and less literature and history. We should also have different schools for different trades, different sciences and so on.

  2. I would have loved to be a librarian as well, but for some reason that degree is a lot more expensive than most other degrees, so I went into comp sci instead 😅👌
