@SplishSplashdash "Nope.": Okay, so you can't explain what race has to do with this. Good to know.
Listen: If you had made an argument about class (we the working class people vs. the owner class, which includes the Bidens, the Clintons, the Obamas, the Bushs, the Trumps, but also the Musks, the Bezos and so many others), I'd fully be with you. However, all ou are doing is to try and play the divide and conquer game by trying to split up the working class by some silly culture w@r like an individuals race, sâŹx / gender, sâŹxuality, language, culture, religion, whatever. You fell right into the right wing's trap.

@seansmith3058 "... feel better?": The truth doesn't make anyone feel good, except the elite. They'll always be safe in their doomsday bunker mansions while we suffer the effects of climat change, wealth inequality, war and uncontrollable numbers of mass migration.
"... besides waiting in dread": Lmao, just because peopls disagree with you, doesn't mean they are doing nothing. We'll never be able to "help them adapt". First of all we don't even know about all the species that exist. Most die out before we ever find them. Second, even if we did there is no way we can force them all to adapt. E.g. Where are ice bears and penguins supposed to go when there is no more ice on the poles? Should we put them on top of mountains and hope for the best? Should we change their DNA and potentially k!ll a lot of them before it might work one lucky time? And then we'll have to research what that change might do to them and how it affects other species of animals as well.
The solution to all of climate change is as follows: First step is depopulation. Humans need to stop having so much offspring to begin with. (It should be no more than one child per two people. If one already has a child with a previous partner, they shouldn't be allowed to have one with a new partner.) The earth can't handle more than 4 billion people with the current western lifestyle. That's why war breaks out so often. States don't even have the resources to feed and house their own people. Our entire financial system of capitalism needs to be overthrown asap as it relies on unlimited growth on a limited planet to even be somewhat stable, which is the entire problem to begin with. It doesn't work for 90% of humans, because it keeps us in chains as wage slaves for the few rich folks who exploit our labor. (Some of us will also have to move on to other planets eventually.)
Then there is the expansion of renewable energy and free knowledge. No more patents keeping the knowledge provided by scientist and universities secret for the profit of the few.
Greenwashing nuclear energy won't solve anything. Neither will coal, gas, oil and all of the other greenwashed energy BS. Corporations like ExxonMobil etc. and tech corps like Facebook, Instagram etc. need to be nationalized. Their propaganda has to be stopped immediately. Tech corps also need to be stopped from stealing and selling people's data. Mankind needs to stop being abused as mindless consumers instead of living beings. Adds need to be banned as well. They do nothing but incentivise greed for more trash products.
Those are real and working solutions. Scientists have know them for well over 70 years and we've known about climate change for over 120 years. Just read all of the versions of "the limits of growth". You'll see how much worse the problem has become and why helping other species adapt is no solution at all when humans keep changing the planet faster than any animal or plant can keep up with.

@craserx6267 1. He's not talking about studies, he's talking about himself. Also, some of the studies he quotes, like most of Freud and other pseudo-psychotherapists, are not used anymore, because they have biases as premises or aren't compatible with neuroscience and other scientific areas which in the past couple of decades have made a lot of progress and discoveries. If your college professors still keep using them, they're way behind.
2. He is a hypocrit, because he wants people to have compassion for himself and other toxic, abusive guys, but women and minorities like natives, pocs, gays, trans, religious minorities and plenty of other folks and their struggles.
3. It's not demonization, just because you don't like it. On the TRUE left (not people like you, who are moderates) we choose to go for a fair, empirical perception and investigation of his (and many other) views. As most of us on the left agree, some of his advice is okay, like the chapter about cleaning one's room, taking care of themselves, etc. However, most of his views are not only useless, but actually harmful to the rest of the population, who aren't cis-het males. That's what people (on the left) keep calling him out for.

â @jorenvanderark3567 Let me just quote you a couple of times:
1. "He called the final stage of capitalism blatantly ignoring that imperialism is by far onder than capitalism.": No, he didn't. He never even talked about timelines and neither did I. He merely stated that capitalism is thriving under imperialism.
2. "As for colonialism being older than capitalism?": Again, noone, except you ofc, is talking about timelines. You're ignorant to the fact that two systems can coexist at the same place and time. Just more prove that you don't actually bother reading what other people write. Instead you're being an impulisve reactionary clinging onto details that neither matter in this context nor have been denied by anyone.
3. "Anyone who has ever attended a high school history class ...." + "It's such a basic history fact ..." + "But since you apparently never attended a high school history class ..." + "Now fuck off." :
The mere fact that you're offended at other people asking you a question, which you purposefully choose to misinterpret in order to get offended even more easily, combined with Wikipedia, a website where anyone can write anything, as your only (!) source (instead of actual research and studies), and a bunch of insults and ad-hominems just show how frigile your knowledge, your maturity and your confidence really is. Good to know that you're not interested in a reasonable and calm conversation.

@JonLordsMustache "after you shit all over his country for no reason":
Lmao, y'all really are fragile and can't take an objective analysis into account, which is also why y'all have no arguments against the facts I stated before. Let me help y'all one more time, maybe in a simpler way you can finally understand: You CANNOT compare David and Goliath. When America sneezes, the rest of the world catches a cold. When Serbia sneezes, nobody outside will even notice. The way the two countries are run, the way they get their GDP to grow, the way they balance exports and imports, their cultures, their views, etc. It's all completely different.
Thinking that things in the US will go down the exact same way as in Serbia in the 90s is empirically wrong and unscientific: Serbia was a post-communist, authoritarian dictatorship with nearly fully, state (not workers' control!!! Huge difference) controlled in the 90s, whereas the US is a capitalist republic with lots of privatization.
None of you can provide any evidence to the contrary, and none of you have arguments and facts.
"I recommend you seem psyhological help": Again, with yet ANOTHER ad hominem. Y'all got nothing of value to add 𤣠most of you can't even spell. Here, let me help you, cause you, too, clearly need all the help you can get: It's *psychological*.
