@Trevor C : And who is stopping those "best and most productive workers" from working however long they want to work? I don't know of a single law preventing you from working 7 days a week if you really want to. Why do you care so much about how other people organize their work schedule and their reasons for doing so?

@Jennifer 1. You can't even spell. Here you go: "We're meant to work 6 days per week [...]" And 2. Who decides how many days of the week "we" are supposed to work? Are you refering to religious scripture(s) or people?

"parents can't raise children": 1. Then they shouldn't be having any in the first place. 2. Teachers aren't there to raise those children. Teachers are supposed to teach,not babysit.
