No! Parents need to be held legally responsible if their kid(s) act out. You can't expect teachers to teach, when they first have to be babysitters, nannys, therapists, psychologists, etc.

If physical assault is the only way you know to disciplin your children, you shouldn't be a parent. There are other, much more effective ways of disciplin: Taking stuff away from them. Having them work at a young age if they want something like new cloths, a toy, a phone or whatever, etf.

Not everything is people's fault. Reaganomics ruined the middle class and rent is at an all time high. Everything has been going up with inflation except for wages.

I'm sorry to hear that. The problem is that teachers aren't allowed to touch children anywhere. They would first have to get help from the principal or someone else. In some places you even have to call the police before you can detain a violent student.

Teachers have so little control, because they are not allowed to do anything. If that teacher would have touched that child, they would have been fired and the misbehavior would have just continued under another teacher.

Not just get away with it. There are students who do their best to cause trouble just to get a teacher they don't like, fired.

Don't worry about it. There are nowhere near enough teachers around for kids to spend an extra couple of years in school.

I can't stand the feelings-over-attitude approch, either. However, bringing medication into it and blaming life-saving vaccines for lack of parenting will not solve any of these issues.
