It was the fact that the US is on a different continent (save from the hot fields and borders of wàr) AND that the US only stepped in late in the game, when Russia had already born the brunt of fighting the schNazis. That's a wår easily won for the US.

  6. You clearly don't understand what NATO is, then... The other countries in NATO are US colonies. The US is nothing without their NATO partners, because the US doesn't produce anything, as shown by Trump's tariffs. All the US has got is weapons, and buying and building those only pays off, when the US uses them. This is why the US is "intervening" and doing regime change all over the world.
