  1. @William: Take it from someone who has lived all over the world and in many countries without monarchies: If there was no monarchy in the UK, the moneys wouldn't go to the average people, it would just end up back in the wallet of your politicians.Also, your monarchy is way cheaper than your politicians and outsiders pay big money for objects with royal family members on them. Entire industries profit from the monarchy, whereas none profit from politicians.
