@singed8853 "Real people are polled and the results recorded.": We all understand how polling works. The problem is that you can't account for factors such as gerry-mandering, propaganda, and random short time / accidental / whatever changes. Polls used to work much better because we didn't have access to the news whenever we wanted before and state TV was controlled output of news.

@ginatruman7143 "Out of the USA that is a miniscule amount": Not really. You have to consider that out of the 330 millions of poeple, many aren't even allowed to vote (for various reasons including them being underage or too old to even care). There are also other factors excluding people from caring enogh to eve go vote, such as them liveing in a blue or red state. What matters are the swing voters and those are less than half of the entire population anyway.

"hardly anybody watched that debate": Forgot to mention that this debate hes been a news topic world wide and it's on every social media platform. People just didn't watch live, because both candadate are senile and they also agree on most issues, even foreign policy (unfortunately, considering the gen...ide in the Middle East).
