"What would it take for you to consider being a teacher?": It would take parents, who teach their br@ts some effin respect and how to behave properly. That would be a great start. Hold them accountable as much as you hold teachers accountable. Don't blame teachers when the kid is failing class. Look at what the kid is actually doing, when in class, first. Also, the school admin and principal should almost always be on the teachers side (unless the teacher is doing something illegal of course) and not continuously stab teachers in the back.

Not surprised. Most parents refuse to do their job and it is showing. Teachers are now forced to both parent and teach every child.

100% correct. First they complained about teachers, now they know what teachers deal with every single day (and with 20 or 30 more students) and they can't handle it.
