Trans folks experience gender disphoria and or body dismorphia despite the environment that they were raised in. It's something concerning our own bodies after all and has nothing to do with outside influences. The reason you see/hear more of it happening, is because there is finally some treatment available to all of us and we have other options than su!cide.
