@jmwilliams734 Wrong, @JM. He is responsible for props as well and that gun is a part of that.

@jmwilliams734 Learn how to read. I said "as well". I never claimed it wasn't "the armorer's job" in the first place, but as a producer he was supposed to check it (again) "as well". That's why they are holding him responsible. If he were just an actor, he'd get off way easier.

@jmwilliams734 "nothing would ever get done [...] person assigned to do it.": Geez, you still don't get it. It's necessary to have multiple people do it, because IT'S A SAFETY CHECK! It's not your average job assignment that requires only one person. People could get hurt badly and in this case they did!

@jmwilliams734 Just say you don't know anything about this topic, @JM, because your last comment is ridiculous. You have obviously never once been on a set and you don't understand what the legal process is like, hence why you don't understand the sentencing, either. It's not about what I want, it's about what the safety process requires. This case is the evidence for the safety process not being rigorous enough.

Not as an actor, but as a producer it sure was. He's one of the top guys. However, I do think that he shouldn't receive as harsh of a punishment as the person responsible for the props in the first place. EDIT: Producer, not director. Anyway, he is just a vip when it comes to the movie RUST.
