@darth3911 Of course it had to do with religion. Christianity like all religion was used to brainwash and destroy the belief of Infigenous people across the Americas and Australia. The state supported religious schools were about destroying Indigenous culture by banning language and culture and uses physical and sexual abuse to destroy Indigenous children. Please wake up. And Conservative values justified such behaviour as the Indigenous were deemed heathen and animalism,though they had sophisticated cultures far in advance of primitive European cultures of the time.
