  2. I never really thought of it that way. You're right the original cut had it where you didn't really know Miles was a good guy until just moments after Sarah went in and realized the guy had a family and didn't even know what was going on.

  3. Yeah, this and Aliens 2 were the two DVDs I bought when I first worked at age 16. Both of the movies with the extended scenes just blew my mind at the time.

The problem with these kind of technologies is that they are so hard to sell in the commercial sectors so I wouldn't doubt his bosses would have went to the military and tried to sell it to them since it's guaranteed money and income. I doubt an airliner would want to buy a AI computer to pilot their commercial vehicles since they run so large of a risk of a lawsuit if things go wrong. But the military they could invest billions into a program and test flight the AI program and if it crashes the worst thing that'll happen is you'll lose the contract bid but you're safe from any sort of lawsuits or anything.

  5. Yeah that's one of the big things I love about the 90s movies. Just looking at the background stuff and seeing what the world was once like.
