  1. It's hard to say but going to your kid's friend's birthday party is a mess for adults. I mean you RSVP but at the same time a lot can happen outside of malice reasons that could cause you to not come to a birthday party. You got to consider your schedule, time at work, picking up your kid, etc. Also the gift falls on you to make so you got to buy some other kid's gift and you sort of wonder what's a good budget and you got to ask your kid just how close of a friend this is and you got to also ask yourself have you ever seen this kid before? Overall when I was little, the close friends circle we all rode together and yeah there were some years where we didn't go to each other's birthday parties but might have shown up at his house later to discuss gifts and all. So I think the parents and media sort of blowing this out of proportion. No way to tell what the true story is.

  2. It’s more the parents fault. They invite a large group of people but they probably didn’t think they didn’t know the child or just had prior obligations outside of malicious reasons.
