@Mwwwwwwwwe that's just it. In a lot of Seagal's films, they have a baseline story but as it unfolds, none of the characters seem to really have any sort of consistent story and oftentimes major characters or plot points are revealed and you're not sure if it is significant or not. It causes you to not care about the characters, the plots, or anything. You just "assume" that Seagal is the good guy and that he's working with the best intention of everyone but it is unclear and unestablished. It's basically a "trust me, bro this is bad and I'm making it right" plot.

If you care to watch the actual film, you'll be left just as confused as to what the storyline is. I have started to watch a lot of Seagal's films and many of them do not have a coherent story. Some of them are.... okay... but they have an overall incoherent plot where oftentimes suddenly something major happens and constant twists inside of twists. It usually makes the characters completely different from what they started off as oftentimes making no sense.

@ yeah I plan to watch this movie this weekend mainly because of the helmet cgi scene. I just got to see it for myself. I've watched a lot of his films so far and yeah all of them have nonsensical plots. I mean they have a base plot, as you said the telecom network thing, but as the movie unfolds, none of it really matters. Those Mad TV skits probably had it right that Seagal is just walking around and making up some plot that you just have no clue what is going on.

Was that real or something space ice exited?

No it's actually in the film man. I thought it was a joke too. I'm planning to try and watch this movie next. I think I saw it for free on my firestick but I'll check it out later. I'm planning to watch it specifically for that motorcycle scene(s).

@ I think the funniest plot twist in all of Seagal movies would be that one in attrition where suddenly the guy reveals he’s his father and it was just so random and out of place that it made zero sense because one we never saw the guy before and two we never seen him ever again so his grand plot twist reveal made no sense. Even more so we see in the same movie a side character having a fight with her mother which again zero interest or reason.

That was back during the time when his movies had actual plotlines you can understand and follow and he actually ran and moved.

Okay I finally got around to watching the movie over the weekend and I must say that the reviews for it was spot on in that there's no story at all. I'm not really sure what the movie was about to be honest. I think it's about an evil cell phone company but I'm not 100% sure.

I never really understood Seagal's logic on why war is bad. He says it's wrong but everything he's doing is like more than enough reasons for authorities to find him and attempt to disable him.

@SmokeymcJoint420 yes there was one movie recently I watched general commander where honesty it appears like he’s the bad guy and everyone else being reasonable. The cia lady seems to want to dismantle his team, this random dude who tries to send assassins, and these organ harvesters who are brutally killed by Seagal and team. It seemed like everyone was trying to stop Seagal but his rampage just went unstoppable.
