  7. I finally got around to watching this movie last night. I don't think this review was entirely fair, to be honest. To me, this is surprisingly one of Seagal's better movies of recent. That's not saying much as it is only about 60% coherent but it's still a pretty good plot compared to his other films that made 0 sense. The whole "snitch" thing with that kid is somewhat a subplot of its own that makes zero sense. So the kid witnessed his son's murder, and picked up the killer's gun and knew who the killer was. But for some reason, he was trying to protect his big brother from Seagal's murder rampage because he was worried he'd find the gun and think his brother did it.... whaaaaaaa? Made zero sense because Seagal broke into his house, then he finally made the big reveal on who the real killer was and Seagal decides to go murder that person but tells the kid he better be right this time around.... yeah as I said 60% coherent. Then at the end of the movie, the main villain who turns out not to be the actual killer but kept trying to kill Seagal throughout the movie and even shot him once, was let go by Seagal because Seagal claims his only reason was to get to his son's killer. Yet they're all the reason behind his son's death because the corrupt cop was using the drug dealer to make money and enforce dominance on the streets by killing people such as his son. So him letting him go didn't really make sense. Also, at the start of the film, they put the word out on the street that he's looking for his son's killer and Seagal even goes around telling people he's looking for his son's killer. Yet the main gangster who runs the street, wouldn't he want the heat off his back and would easily give up the cop who killed the other cop to the guy that is going around killing all his people? Overall a silly movie.
