@taxidude yeah that has a minor role in the entire plot like a pawn shop receiving some stolen goods.

After watching several of the movies Space Ice reviewed myself, I came to conclude that every movie has Steve going into places, causing mayhem, destruction, and death, and by the end of the movie, it's revealed some grand plot switch that invalidates everything he did in the movie thereby everyone needlessly being killed when he could have just resolved everything by doing what he did at the end.

I got this film today. I'm pretty excited about watching it tonight or tomorrow! From what I understand, they had to go from one set to another because they were kicked out for Man of Steel. So that would explain some of the repeated scenes or just bizarre swap and never returning to one area.

The guy is worth 14 million dollars with most of his income coming in from his dojos around the world. Looking at the average cost of these DTV movies he makes, he's spending roughly 100-200k for it and that's not a terrible amount of money for him but I'm betting he raises money from other sources as well to make these movies. I think he's just doing it for fun and what better way to make it entirely about how awesome you are.
