That woman walking to those doors probably the longest walk she ever had to do. I hope her child is okay but it sadden me that someone has to go through all that.

It's the UK. So yes. This is what you voted for. A product of a generation.

It would make one thing if they were experienced in whatever it was they said. But you're right at this point it's all philosophical instead of something based on experience. If she traveled the world and saw the horror of things and came back to raise awareness, it would be one thing.

Couldn't they start giving food to these very hungry people?

I do agree I have owned one for years and never had issues. But it is hard to dismiss some of the videos where officers are arresting someone, and suddenly the gun goes off without any sort of reason. Could it be bad holster design? Or something off with the gun itself?

@wtmf80 yeah I suppose the weird thing is they all occur within a holster. Now granted that's where they would stay 99% of the time but I suppose for regular users, like you and me, how come we don't hear reports of it going off in a safe? Or on a night stand? Or even more so just people going out and about during their day and it goes off?

I'm kind of on the fence about it. I own both M17/18 since it was available to the public and never had any issues with them. I find it fascinating because yes, I seen videos where it appears they were not touching or messing around with the pistol prior and it just went off by itself in the holster. I watched a few videos trying to explain tolerance stacking and whatnot, but I don't believe those videos and the only compelling one I've seen involved the explanation that the trigger doesn't have a drop safe lever on it which when you make a sudden movement with it, the momentum causes a trigger pull because of the weight of the trigger. It seems like SIG addressed the issues by cutting out some of the weight on the trigger and changing the angle of the trigger bar.

Right, I remember reading the earlier stories about disassembly. They would show it once during the day, and when they returned to the hotel, they would hear reports of at least one person having fired the gun. I do believe glock was sued for it as well and the person lost.

Yes, I do agree that police are generally not trustworthy to admit fault when something goes wrong.

So W. Virginia is a republican state but yet California, that done worse, is shown as a thriving utopia where everyone has vaccine and playing it safe. They're saying California will see the end of the pandemic this month (that's today). But yet W. Virginia, because it is republican, it will collapse in itself.
