I'm kind of amazed how the social norms switched. I grew up in the 90s and at the time if you had to use the internet for something, it was considered somewhat an anti-social behavior. But in today's world, it's the inverse that's true where you can't meet someone unless you meet them online first. It used to be that having a dating profile online was considered bad but in today's world, everyone has one. Had I known the world was going to be that way, I would have made a much better effort in the early 2000s searching for someone when going out was possible and considered acceptable.

I think people got a bit smarter knowing that they're really working to make someone else rich. I mean if you owned it all and you were putting in the work then that's one thing.

Unfortunately they're all just workers and don't actually have any rights to what they made. It belonged to the company and all that hard work only made someone else rich.

Yep, I remember the version of AOL too lol. I remember AOL 3.0 was the best version then 4.0 came out but at the same time AIM came out and we switched internet to the cable one in early 2000s. Even more so I think back in the AOL 3.0 days, if you remember these things called Punters, they were very fun lol.
