  1. Don't read into the news too much. I don't think your average voter cares enough about Cuomo or what he does. I seen worse get into office. There was enough indication while Cuomo got elected that he was getting money and help from these big corporations, including the ones that run nursing homes. Yet, the voters still voted him in and they would again. Cuomo doesn't care about nursing home people because they probably don't vote for him. Had this been an illegal immigrant holding cell or prison, Cuomo would be going full blast, resigning and asking for forgiveness in hopes that his party can stay in power because then they'd be actually killing their voters.

  2. Follow the money. The companies that run these nursing homes gave Cuomo millions during his run for governor. He built a protection wall for these companies so they're shielded from anything. Now it is back firing on him. I seen worse run for governor and to be honest, I don't think the voters care enough on people's history. It seems like people are more interested in free things from the government and so long as that is happening, they don't care who is in office or what sort of history that person has. That old person at the nursing home probably didn't even vote for Cuomo so why should he care about them? He really lost nothing. Had this been a prison or illegal immigrant holding cells, we'd see more revolt cause now people who would vote democrats are dying and Cuomo can't have that.
