  1.  @garygurr1221  hold your horses here. Once someone signs on to write a book, they get paid no matter the sales.They might get some pay for each book sold, but reality is the sign on price is a lot more.

  2. They're saying the staffers are moving on to better challenges but what could be more rewarding than working for the second highest office in the USA? So it sounds baffling to me. At the least they'd work there 4 years, and most people "looking for a new challenge" will stay at a job for at least 2 years before jumping only because they don't want their resume to say they left a position just under a year. A lot of people work white collar jobs unlike what the admin thinks. We're not unemployed voters who want government handouts. We know how office politics work. Someone leaving a job in under a year knows something is up. Not sure if it is a toxic work environment but definitely something fishy. I suspect Kamala knows her rating is declining and probably really pushed the staffer to "do something" about it. When they came up with nothing plausible or had no result to show, she probably berated them and had a sit down with them about how important the job is and how thankful they should all be.
