  1. I think we should note that it is all about how you say things. The reason OJ got off the hook is because his lawyer was able to convince the jury of a doubt even with all the evidence pointing otherwise. The reason this man went to prison is because the prosecutor made a very convincing argument based solely on circumstantial evidence. The key thing to remember when dealing with the police is that they're not there to help you. Period. Only answer the question and add nothing else.

  2.  Sam Yaza  That's exactly what I meant when I said it depends on how you say it. All they got to do is find something and drive it home... whether it's an error or something else. For these people making confessions all they had to do was play some small thing he said and that could convince a jury. Either way it is smart to not say anything at all to the police and always have a lawyer present. especially when being asked about something as crazy as murder.
