I have two questions: 1) The SCOTUS decision states that there is a special relationship such that someone unable to protec themselves such as children and those that are mentally disabled or incapable of protecting themselves. So wouldn't that apply here? 2) Parents were placed under arrest for attempting to enter the school. One mother tried to go in and was placed in handcuff. When she was taken off she entered the school and got her child. Another mother entered the school after begging the police to go in she found later on her child was a victim. Would they have a suit in this case since they were falsely detained to protect their child under extreme conditions?

  2. So basically the term "special relationship" where someone is under government control is essentially NEVER. So EVERYONE could be argued never in police custody and the police are NEVER wrong in anything they do. What in the heck?
