  1. Don't terrorists usually dress up in civilian clothing and carry out a surprise attack? Usually first world countries will come in dressed appropriately under the banner of their country as soldiers carrying out an objective. I never once heard a story from SOG in Vietnam dressed up as Vietnamese soldiers and then carrying out a surprise attack. I believe it is against international wartime laws to do so.

  2. I'm a bit surprised that media is classifying this as separate from things like school shootings. It's the same kind of kids that carry out these kinds of things. I feel like very little punishment is given to them and very little is done to prevent violence on others.

  5. I'm doubting they laughed at her because she's disabled or that she had trouble. Sometimes people's first reaction to a bad situation is to smile or laugh because they're not sure what to do. It doesn't mean they're heartless or that they are poking fun of her.

  6. I didn't know stores could charge you with a crime. Usually it is up to the police to determine if charges are appropriate or not. With that said, if I bought 100s of items and they tried to put a charge on me, I would 1) return all of the items for a full refund, and 2) tell the judge to tell walmart to go eff themselves.

  10. Let's say USA was invaded and hospitals are having people coming in to seek treatment. Wouldn't it make sense USA would post at least some military members at sensitive sites? And also store ammunition and guns at such site in case an attack is carried out against the hospital? Keep in mind this is THEIR country and THEIR people so protecting or having soldiers there make sense. @Thirtyfivecharactersoutoffifty

  11. There's many ways to look at the story. It seems like she was upset with the guy and I'm thinking he tried to appear rich and maybe lied about having all sorts of premium upgrades and seats only to find out they bought economy seats and no upgrades. I guess she figure if he could lie about that, perhaps he lied about other things and tossed his money at him. I'm guessing he gave that to her to spend on the trip and who knows how big of a hit he took to pull that off.

  14.  @claytongunter2450  the shotgun he's carrying is considered semi auto which most AWB has restrictions on. The problem is the shotgun he has could easily have the barrel swapped and the stock changed to make the appearance of it seem more deadly but it still operates the same as he is holding it during the video. So yes, democrats are after these types of firearms. AWB are less of a "ban on AR15s" but more like a ban on features that's shared across many different types of firearms including ones made exclusively for hunting.

  15. I think she's mixing up between criminal charges and perhaps civil charges. Criminally it would be impossible for anyone outside of the police, DA, or some law enforcement to come out to say you did something criminally and as such you are charged for it. However..... a store can say that you purposely walked out of the store with an item and take you to civil court where they say you owe them for blah. You don't need to hire a lawyer per say, but they would show a video of the proposed crime and you can defend yourself. Ultimately, no you wouldn't spend any time in jail, because as I said no one can charge you criminally. It is up to the LE on that, not the stores.

  16. I'm guessing the guy gave her the cash as spending money for whatever trip they were going on. She got angry and threw the cash at him. Perhaps he was trying to buy her with lavish gifts and money but wasn't really a great guy so she gave him back the money in a rude way. I say she had enough of him. I'm thinking the guy lied about having all sorts of money for a lavish trip but she found out he was a phony when all the seats and upgrades were just fake and they had to sit in the economy section.

  18. Yeah it's such an unusual story. I mean I don't know what normally happens in co2 situations but maybe they realized something was wrong and tried to get up? It's not usual for co2 to cause you to become disorientated.

  20. @ okay thanks. but i read a new report and it doesn't sound like carbon monoxide because they didn't find anything. Actually what happened was they got a 911 call from a caretaker who noticed them on the ground from the window and the police broke in and found pills all around their bodies. No gas leaks or anything detected around the house. The one dog passing away could have been from it eating the pills on the floor? Not sure.

  21. Actually no. In his films, if you watch it close enough, you'll realize that about 90% of the people he's blowing away are usually innocent of what is going on in the film. In several scenes he would go into shops or workplaces and basically drop more innocent people than the actual enemies. Also, in some films, he would let the main bad guy go or completely off the hook for little to no reason. He would make this huge plot twist where somehow the main villain can get off. In all of the films, Seagal IS the enemy.

A lot of children with disabilities come in and this is literally the last trip they’ll make and it’s hard to believe staff would just laugh at some large woman falling.

They started with the low key guy, and they pulverized him until he said where he got it from, then they went up the chain one by one.   37. Yes, I'm not sure what report to believe. I'm reading google news and half the stories have it under suspicious and the other half saying not. Some of the stories have the parts about the pills and others just said they suspected no foul play. So which is the true story? I just turned on Fox News and they're saying the coroner is saying it is suspicious death. So again it is unclear but perhaps each of the news agencies reporting different information they obtained.

  40.  @sakumisan  yeah I mean all that would have been on the voice recorder on the blackbox. It's a commercial flight so they would have had a fairly advanced blackbox installed. Also, recently a news report was released detailing the interaction between the pilot and the tower. The pilot did not mention that he was going to go to the back of the plane to check anything, especially the wheel. Instead he said he went to the back and jumped out and he requested to the tower if they wanted him to circle the area where he jumped off. The tower said to continue landing and they called 911 to explain someone jumped/fell out of an airplane without a parachute. Overall I don't think the pilot had any idea on what was going on so it makes the situation even more bizarre.

  41.  @jeffs4483  it would be on the blackbox though. The audio and interactions would all be recorded with them. It's a commercial plane so I would guess there be an audio log for sure of the interactions within the plane. So if the pilot did do something, he would for sure know they find out and would make an attempt to run away or conceal the blackbox which he hasn't.

  42. It is indeed odd but I'm going to speculate the damaged landing gear had something to do with this incident. My guess is maybe the co-pilot did something accidental or in error that caused the damage and he felt his life was over. There's a news clip of the audio between the tower and the pilot regarding him jumping out the back. It sounds like the pilot is just as confused about the situation.

  43. It's definitely a weird one for me. I'm trying to dig up information on it but it's very perplexing how the whole thing happened. My only assumption is that she was working at the airport and was mowing grass near the front of the runway. I'm guessing she was hit either from the side or in the back of the head for her to not realize there was a plane landing.

  45. Based on google search, I believe the last guy put to death for a similar crime was a Missouri man who was put to death for a 2005 killing of a police officer. He was 19 at the time and he was finally put to death in 2023 at the age of 37. So that's nearly 20 years waiting in death row making appeals and whatnot. So if this man was put to death, he'd likely face similar times and at the current age of 59, he'd probably die of natural causes by then or he would get off of it for being too old and inhumane.

  46. They're currently showing IDF bombing various structures on the Hamas controlled areas. Do you think those bombs are only killing enemy combatants? Or do you think like this poor woman that those bombs are also harming/killing innocents who has nothing to do with the conflict? It appears only when they show videos of what war is like that people think they're monsters or something. To them these people are trespassers to a land they had for years until was taken from them by force. Just wait until they show videos of Palestinian women and children in worse conditions after one of those "strategic" bombings.

  50. Also a plausible explanation is the landing gear jammed and he went back to lower it manually and slipped out. Judging by the pilots radio comm with the tower it sounds like he intentionally jumped. He saw him go to the back and jump out. The finally conclusion is some sort of foul play involved but I would think since it’s a commercial flight they’d have a black box that records the communication inside the plane thus the pilot having limited time before he’s discovered. If such is a case I imagine the pilot be trying to leave the country.

  52. I've seen plane strike videos and many of them survived. From the story, it sounds like he tried to lift off so he would have increased velocity for that to happen. I'm guessing that's what caused her death but if he continued to land, she might have lived from the lower velocity of the strike but it would have made him look like a horrible person especially if she suffered greatly. @sean2015

  55. I read through the details of the accident and unless I'm missing something big here I'm not sure why Hussain was even charged in the first place? The owners of the limo company and the company that repaired the limo should all be charged. The limo company failed to inspect their vehicles and went to questionable shops that allowed corroded parts to remain. The brakes failed and that was the direct cause of this crash. Hussain was driving at a high rate of speed but the crash was a result of a failed brake that would have even failed had be been going just 60 mph and probably still would have killed or injured multiple people as a result of that.

  59. How do you know though? Shouldn't a country under wartime have soldiers posted at sensitive areas? Like let's say USA was under attack, the hospitals are flooded with people seeking treatments. Do you think soldiers would be posted at said hospital? Even having weapons and ammunition there to prevent an attack on the vulnerable? And let's say the people invading us comes in dressed as civilian, arrest soldiers posted at the hospital, and then claim they were using it as a human shield to store weapons so they were right. @kurousagi8155

  61.  @rvfinder7997  or he caused the landing gears to malfunction such as lowering them while at full speed could damage the landing gears. My guess is he felt he caused the damage and he felt his career was over. He was only 23 so he's just starting off his career. The other plausible situation is the landing gear malfunctioned and the manual mechanical override was in the back of the plane. Perhaps he accidentally somehow fell out of the plane while doing this.

  62. I find this somewhat hard to believe. Because if the store failed to ring it up, and you walk out, then there are plenty of case laws to back it up that you do not owe the store any money. On top of that, legally speaking Walmart cannot search your property for items and you can walk out without doing the check. Of course, they might harass you and call the PD on you but ultimately that is not an admission of guilt and it is up to the PD to determine if you are charged with any sort of crime.

What we’re saying is that a war crime is being watched and instead of people condemning the actions of both sides were supposed to be either pro Palestine or pro Israel. You can’t be on the side of innocents whose entire families were wiped out due to either side behaving badly.
