  1. One extraordinary thing about this channel that I'm not sure whether the followers fully grasp is how deeply and truly European such work is. If you search on youtube for European history you would get it all fragmented as if the various countries were little shells on their own that you should admire for some touristic reason but playing on the categorical separation from one another. Schwerpunkt not just has an impressive knowledge about the Old Continent but he's incredibly well versed on the UNITARY concept of European identity and culture, even in the differences. If one doesn't grasp this and comes to this channel just to focus within certain times and spaces they have not really understood what Schwerpunkt is about. Pure gold here
