It's because children are coming out as trans and conservative parents freaked out because a trans adolescent (usually trans girl) wanted to use the girl's room (because it was actually dangerous for them) so conservatives saw they could use this to generate outrage now that gay marriage doesn't work as well so they decided to pass laws against trans people using the restroom of the sex they identify.

  6. I agree that the gender studies classes are ridiculous and extreme--but there's a danger going too far the other way. It's just as reactionary as we claim the SJWs to be.
