No. That's not what he said. He said he'd accept the outcome if he won. You're spinning and trying to make him sound more reasonable than he is.

These voter ID laws aren't really about preventing voter fraud--voter fraud on that level isn't really a problem and even if it happens it would be on such a small scale that it wouldn't matter. The fact is, these kind of laws are written by Republicans with the express purpose of suppressing minority votes. And, like it or not requiring them does amount to a poll tax--which is, and should be, illegal.

David T I have never seen any evidence of Trump having a sense of humor so I think you're the liar and naive at that.
1
David T Thank you for admitting you're wrong. And, as his speech at that Catholic event showed--Trump has no sense of humor at all. He's barely able to contain his rage and that would be disastrous in a President.

David T Racism isn't illegal. Voter suppression is and the Republican Party has already admitted to it and have a consent decree about it.

Fahraynk Look up the Voting Rights Act. There's a reason these sort of impairments to voting are illegal.
1
Fahraynk They're both used for the same reason--to suppress votes. That's all that matters. There can be no test and no tax.
1
Mastikator They're against it because it's an unconstitutional poll tax.
1
Fahraynk It's voter suppression under the guise of fixing a problem that doesn't exist.

Fahraynk You might want to consider your words because all you've been doing is spouting nonsense and completely specious ideas. I can answer with those points because nothing you've said disputes them. I think voter fraud isn't a problem because there's been no proof to show that it is. There have been some incidents of it but either those votes weren't counted or they were so few that it didn't actually make a difference in the outcome. If you are trying to swing an election voter fraud is a very ineffective way of doing it, especially if you can just get the Supreme Court to stop the count and declare your candidate a winner. If you can't do that the best thing is to make it so the people who would vote against you can't vote. So what if it's illegal?
1
Fahraynk I've considered them. As far as the Veritas, it sure doesn't take much to drive Trump supporters to violence so it wasn't much of a plan. Still voting for Hillary.
1
Fahraynk Oh yeah, that's all been shown to be fake. But, you will claim it's not because you're completely in that right wing conspiracy bubble.
