@SSB-8 more insults. you must be a democrat. Can't have a normal conversation, just straight to the insults
1
@SSB-8 you must not live in California. Basements aren't common out here at all, or anywhere on the west coast really
1
Lots of homeless shelters and other facilities, but many people refuse to use them
1
@dawaj3715 wrong
1
@dawaj3715 they converted numerous old crappy hotels into temporary shelters, across the state. A buddy of mine was working on one conversion. Cost a lot of money.
1
Is English new to you?
1
@Desy.YKW_ you had your biggest wildfires in state history last year, and you're telling us what to do? Fix your own house first
1
@Sam-oo6wy right, they'll just dam the LA river. Good plan. Of course, everyone in LA will have to leave
1
Kamala is not your typical Democrat. Every dem I know hates her.
1
I suppose if the governor of Louisiana ran for president, his goal would be to triple the homicide rate in America
1
Learn to speak English
1
@tpmonster24 wow you just love insulting people on the Internet don't you? Nice hobby
1
Yes exactly, which is why NOBODY in north Carolina or Florida should get any relief after the last hurricanes. They're all rich. America is the richest country on earth
1
You a psychic? Tell me, what are the winning Powerball numbers
1
@ZREXER1250 karma! I guess that's why hundreds died during hurricane helene.
1
@DesignRhythm yes, I know they had a reservoir empty, for maintenance. That was one of MANY reservoirs in the area, however, and the rest are full.
1
@DesignRhythm Did you think there was only one reservoir in those mountains? Let me guess, you don't live in California
1
@DesignRhythm I'm not talking about reservoirs on the other side of the city, I'm talking about the reservoirs in the Santa Monica mountains, just a couple minutes away from the fires
1
@DesignRhythm let me guess, you didn't see any footage of the fire, and didn't see the fleet of choppers dropping water on the fire all day and all night
1
@DesignRhythm let me guess, you actually didn't know there are many reservoirs in that same mountain range because you don't live in America
1
You voted for them
1
@CharlesHyland-jg6je chemtrails are an urban myth
1
Why buy it in the first place? Spend twice as much money and get something that will last 4 times as long.
1
Trump told you about the smelt and you believed him. Probably not a fisherman, just another angry basement dweller
1
People died. Just like all those hundreds of dead people after hurricane helene. You get what you vote for
1
Right, cuz nobody was assaulted when Trump was in office
1
Yeah and the governor of North Carolina murdered 250 people during hurricane helene
1
False
1
The governor doesn't have control over the endangered species act, it's federal
1
Yeah, he is
1
Newsome has been mentioning the coastal commission.
1
Tyrone and Jamal
1
Who said we can solve homelessness? How does one solve homelessness?
1
But they're not worried about the other races?!! Racist crap
1
@Reach41 you must feel the same way about everything else for sale. Sale price should reflect pricing after taxes
1
@Reach41 it's not just poor people. My parents are literally millionaires and my mom buys those tickets. you must have missed my point
1
@Reach41 imagine if they didn't have that tax money at all. Lot of schools would receive a lot less funding
1
@Reach41 there's only so much money in the system. If they didn't get it from the lottery, they'd have to raise taxes elsewhere. Looks like those taxes amount to about 2 billion dollars annually
1
@Reach41 it's true, the operating budget of this state is astounding. It would be nice if they could use some of that money to pay off our debt. Happy New Years to ya
1
Your senator doesn't have any ethics? Why'd you vote for him?
1
Nobody voted for all your homeless people to flood our state
1
What do you propose we do to solve homelessness? Build massive new prisons and incarcerate all these people? Is that what your town does?
1
What forest??? The area that burned is not forested. Clearly you're unfamiliar with the region
1
@almitrahopkins1873 Yes, I am familiar with the area. I grew up hiking those hills and fishing the creeks and reservoirs. I spent 25 years in LA county. This area was not forested when the Spanish colonized it. It is and has been chaparral vegetation for a very long time. Apparently you're not familiar with the region. Google chaparral.
1
@almitrahopkins1873 I also have been living in the redwood forest near Oregon for 20 years, so I know a few things about this place too. Surveyed tens of thousands of acres of timberlands and other land throughout the state, worked with every agency you can think of and a whole lot more you've probably never heard of. How about you, where do you live?
1
@almitrahopkins1873 I've read every maritime explorers journal, all the fur trappers and hide-scrapers, all the missionary accounts, and have a large personal library of valuable first editions of every first-hand account I can find, been collecting for 30 years or so. Familiar with the history of the state, work with lots of tribes on lots of projects over the years. Google "fire ecology"

Republicans
1
@jamesgentry9102 no, I'm a straight white male. You'll have to satisfy your curiosity elsewhere
1
You like seeing destruction in America? Must be a foreigner
