  7.  @Wise101  I agree they shouldn't have cut the budget, but they're not stealing the money that was cut. That $17 million was directed into the county law enforcement budget. The mayor makes less than a quarter million a year. Los Angeles County has been getting fires like this forever, since before humans entered the continent.
