politicians make money from illegal weed? What are you talking about? One group of people that was profiting from the illegality of weed was.... WEED GROWERS. When I stopped growing, my last pounds were selling for $3200. I just bought one for $50. fifty dollar pounds is what legalization brought us

@clif-d3z If they make money from the taxes, then they're profiting on weed being legal, not from its being illegal. Also, tax money doesnt go directly into politicians pockets, thats not how it works.
