  8.  @Dpixtion  The beaches in the Los Angeles/Orange County area aren't what I had in mind when I made that comment. I live near Trinidad State Beach, its much nicer than anything in the LA area. Laguna is pretty nice but too crowded down there. What would you recommend Gavin do to clean up our beaches?

  10.  @Dpixtion  Well yes, Japan is utterly amazing, I know that and I've never been there. Follow a number of livestreamers from Japan. High bar they have set there, but the beaches here in north California are fairly pristine. The only garbage on the beaches where I live is what washes up on shore from the Pacific gyre, comes from all over the pacific, but aside from buoys and fishing gear, none of it is local. Pretty clean beaches here, not sure what Gavin could possibly do to make them more clean. He did outlaw plastic straws and tried to ban single-use plastic bags, which helped, but he gets a lot of criticism for that. Seems his critics like plastic-strewn beaches. I've never lived more than 2 miles from the ocean in my life.

  11.  @Dpixtion  Oh sorry. the crap and homeless on the streets all over America, not sure what we do about that, aside from build a lot more large prisons and work-camps to detox all the drug zombies. Gotta get pretty hardcore, make homelessness illegal. You camp on the sidewalk, you either go into a treatment facility, or a prison work camp. I see no other options

  26.  @grahamegaw-mc3bw  Yep. There was at least one larger storm than this here, last winter. Of course, with sea levels rising, coastal flooding like this is getting more common. Tides are rising as the ocean gets warmer. When water heats up, it expands. When ice heats up, it turns into water.
