@PC-tan kids having cellphones isn't particularly shocking. The idea that kids are permitted to have and use cell phones while in class, now that is strange. different world than it was a few decades ago.

@PC-tan there should be zero technology allowed in students hands in the classroom. No toys. The kids should leave the toys at home. That was the rule when I was a kid. If kids "don't like it" then they can go sit in detention after class. If they don't like that, they can find a new school to attend.

@PC-tan I remember in 6th grade, getting caught reading a book in class. Lord of the Rings. Had to put the book away and focus on schoolwork. Doesn't matter what the distraction is. Toys, computers, books. Can't pay attention to the teacher if you're on facebook or reading a Tolkien novel.
