@ybrix101 aircraft were not able to make water drops due to the high winds. One cannot drop water accurately if the winds exceed 60 miles per hour. I guess you didn't see any of the footage of the fire

@ybrix101 one reservoir nearby was not full at the time, it was closed for repairs. That's the only one I see which was not full. An official said "the reservoir could have preserved some additional water pressure to fight the fires, but that it’s unlikely it would have substantially changed outcomes." What else ya got

17 people died in Florida during Hurricane Milton. They let Hurricane Helene cause 230 people to die, and they're criticizing Newsome? HUNDREDS of their constituents died in that one hurricane. Get your act together. What do they say about people who live in glass houses

@ybrix101 as for the brush, again you're clearly not familiar with chaparral vegetation. You can't just clear chaparral from entire mountain ranges. It stump sprouts. It thrives on fire. Cutting it down just makes it grow back thicker. Maybe you've never been outside of Florida and aren't aware of these things

@checkitout3714 that is incorrect. They still cut fire lines. Embers were flying over them, a mile ahead of the fire line. You ain't cutting any mile-wide fire breaks

@checkitout3714 Firebreaks don't help if the embers are flying a mile through the air. A MILE THROUGH THE AIR and you're talking about a swath of bare ground 20 feet wide. Get a clue

@checkitout3714 You'd have to remove all vegetation from the mountains, which would basically require removing all of the topsoil from the whole mountain range. A little firebreak doesn't do anything if embers are flying a mile in 60 mile per hour winds. Now, ignore these facts like you people do

@ybrix101 I'm watching Fox News right now, at this moment, as they're fighting the Palisades fire, and they report the air crews are filling from the Encino reservoir, which is FULL. Fox News reports the reservoir is FULL. Quit spreading disinformation.

@ybrix101 Choppers are currently making water drops every 10 seconds or so according to Fox. One after another, all night long, filling from the FULL reservoir just a couple of minutes away. Remember to thank Newsome for all that water
