@ararune3734 Russia caused the only European invasions of the 21st century- Georgia in 2008 and Ukraine in 2014.

It hard to take Putin seriously when his view is painted by his own propaganda and misinformation. His logic makes as much since as the UK and France arguing for bad relations, because historically they have been at war for over four centuries.

Russia says they worry about an invasion due to a European invasion in the 1940s. Europeans say they worry about an invasion due to Russian invasions of European in 2008 and 2014. Which one sounds more logical?
21
@dogman-fx9ub My point is that no one has invaded Russia since WW2, so the "fear" that anyone is going to attack nuclear Russia is nonsense. Meanwhile, Putin has ordered the invasions of European countries twice since 2008, so it makes sense that his neighbors want protection from Russian aggression.

@ek2954 The "referendum" didn't even have a option to vote to remain in Ukraine. A "voter's" only options were autonomy or joining Russia.

@anuvisraa5786 Keep telling yourself that as Putin target bombs hospitals and schools in Chechnya and Syria.

It was only poltical support at first. NATO only got involved when all the multi ethnic genocides started - an issue Putin is indifferent about.
4
@joegooner3563 Under Russian UN approval, did NATO send forces to stop the multi ethnic genocide. Yes, that is true.
4
@daxasd3270 Another good point. How is the argument that Ukrainians and Russians are one people justification for killing Ukrainians? Putin wants to kill more of "his people"?
4
@fatalitycs The 21st century is only 2000 forward.
3
@alexsilent5603 Russian soldiers were captured on Ukraine and Georgian soil, because Russia is the invader. It also seems odd that there weren't any Georgian soldiers on Russian soil or American soldiers on Ukraine soil. How are they attacking without soldiers?
3
Could you imagine if the British tried this BS logic as justification to invade Australia or New Zealand?
3
NATO didn't send a large amount of troops to the Russian border until Putin started to threaten to invade Ukraine.
3
He hate 'em, because he ain't 'em.

@scaryclouds1403 This "NATO aggression" had Russian approval in the UN Security Council. Putin doesn't mention that, because it's inconvenient to his propaganda.

@scaryclouds1403 United Nations Security Council resolution 836

@scaryclouds1403 "Decides that, notwithstanding paragraph 1 of resolution 816 (1993), Member States, acting nationally or through regional organizations or arrangements, may take, under the authority of the Security Council and subject to close coordination with the Secretary-General and UNPROFOR, all necessary measures, through the use of air power , in and around the safe areas in the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, to support UNPROFOR in the performance of its mandate set out in paragraph 5 and 9 above;" -United Nations Security Council resolution 836

@startingbark0356 The Serbs who kept shooting artillery into villages of ethnic minorities? Only Russians would oppose stopping a genocide.
1
@Kiru-san UN and EU investigations only found genocide against Georgian villages by Russian proxies. Only a gullible Russian population believed the accusations against Georgia.
1
@Kiru-san Nukes are all Russia needs to prevent invasions. Everything else is just a BS pretext to use force against neighbors who refuse orders from Putin.
1
@benmm01 Russia sent tanks and soldiers into two European countries to occupy them. What would you call that?
1
@orionlt1028 A) After the events of Black Hawk Down, Clinton was scared to put America soldiers at risk during the Rwandan Genocide B) Destroying the Serb's weapon factories and bridges is a way to stop the Serbian tanks from attack villages of civilians with low risk of civilian casualties.
1
@csuporj Eastern Europe never sided with Russia voluntarily. The Soviet Red Army invaded, and then never left until the union collapsed in 1991.
1
@benmm01 Your justification for Russian attacking their neighbors is Russians feel entitlement to steal it. 21st century colonialism at play.
1
@benmm01 Russian propaganda. The EU report said Georgia responded to Russian provocations and that Russian did nothing to stop their proxy forces from committing genocide against Georgians. Why do the Russians always tend to side with the ones committing Genocide?
1
@benmm01 You mean the Georgia civilians who were massacred by Russia proxies for simply being a different ethnic group? What would you call that?

@Kneorlan What is less than zero?
