@hendrikdependrik1891 The EU needs to focus on the things that are actually required to be a functioning member of the EU such as fair elections, free speech, rule-of-law, an independent judiciary, and EU supremacy. Hungary agreed to these requirements when they joined the bloc. Instead European liberals are trying to force new values on Hungary and Poland like LGBT rights and accepting poor immigrants from outside of Europe. None of this was part of the EU agreement when these countries joined. These are still independent countries and should be able to have their own laws based on local values instead of having "Brussel values" forced on them.
