  1. It is less of a spending issue and more of a growth issue. Most of the issues with the French economy would be solved if the citizens would just work. No taking the month of August off, no giving exceptions for people to retire in their 50s, no 35-hour work weeks, etc. Protectionism and stimulus aren't solving anything.
