  1. Georgia, Syria, Crimea, Hong Kong, South China Sea, and and Xinjiang have all shown the West will never sacrifice economic comfort to punish violent actors. The West uniting behind Ukraine must make these autocrats question this assumption. Hopefully, this makes President Pooh rethink an attack on Taiwan.

  2.  TacticalMoonstone  The US moving the navy through the South China Sea is a symbolic gesture that costs nothing and doesn't even discourage China's claim. In addition, Europe, Australia, and Asian democracies haven't done anything more than strongly worded letters. China does what they want without consequences.
