  1. The Kurd in Western media often portray the Kurds as one monolithic bloc when they are actually pretty divided. The Turkish Kurds are split among very religious Muslims and champions of secularism.

  2. ​ @berkayyazcoglu1388  It is called "cultural genocide." Even if the population isn't being murdered, a state can criminalize and destroy traditions and language until there is no one left to remember them.

  3.  @mossfen583  Erodgan is closely aligned with Turkish Nationalist who openly demand cultural genocide of the Kurds. Erodgan also seems to attack the Kurds every time his poll numbers drop, so concern of further attacks on Kurdish culture is not an unrealistic concern.

  4.  @mossfen583  The AKP has lost much of Kurdish support after Erodgan decided win over the Turkish Fascist of the MHP. Erodgan's allies are openly calling for cultural genocide of the Kurds to solve the "Kurdish Problem". To be fair, it is hard to get accurate information from Turkey when Erodgan has jailed more journalists than Putin has.

  5.  @seadkolasinac7220  Traditionally, that is what journalists do to learn about things. However, that isn't really possible in Turkey since Erodgan has arrested more journalists than even Putin has.

  6.  @seadkolasinac7220  Obviously, Erodgan is anti-Kurdish if it is politically useful for him to get support of Turkish Nationalist in the country. Whether he believes it or not is hardly relevant when the end result is Erodgan attacking the Kurdish population.
