Biden promised over and over that this was for the best.

The Taliban was outgunned and outmanned by government forces, but the Afghans still chose to surrender their country to the Taliban instead of fighting for it. The cowards deserve the consequences of their choices.

@AbdulHannanAbdulMatheen The citizens didn't join a militia to defend their country or take it back. Many women stood up in protests, but the men chose their fate by not fighting. The cowards deserve the consequences for their decisions.

@tgutz7019 I have empathy for my friends who died in Afghanistan, so the Afghans could have a better life. Everything they did was for nothing, because Afghans won't fight for their own country.

@mindblower8774 That is their decision, but that also means they deserve the consequences for their decision.

@shouryasanjeev9284 You don't think the Taliban can find one of the hundreds of Afghans that were trained to repair humvees? Apparently, the Afghans were never trained to repair helicopters. The Biden administration's plan was for US contractors to tell the Afghan mechanics how to do the repairs over Skype. (Soooo stupid). Good news is that if the Afghan army couldn't get them off the ground, so the Taliban can't either.

Don't forget that Biden left them $6 billion in military hardware.

@azca. BS. The same people who said the equipment is unusable is the same people who told us the "moderate" Taliban can be trusted to be inclusive and respect women's rights. Obvious lies. The only thing unusable are the helicopters, because it takes skilled mechanics to maintain them. The Taliban is already using the night vision goggles, small arms, and vehicles that Biden left them. While the vehicles won't get spare parts, Biden left them a big enough fleet where they can just cannibalize some vehicles to repair others.

@theaverageitaliandon998 A) They are guns, night vision goggles, and cars. Maintaining them isn't rocket science. B) NATO literally trained hundreds of Afghans to repair and maintain the vehicles. There are people maintaining the equipment C) There are literally video after video of the Taliban using the equipment that Biden left them

@righthandstep5 What part was untrue?
1
@maddogbasil The "moderate" Taliban myth was spread by the Trump and then Biden administration to justify negotiating with a terrorist organization. Both administrations knew this would be the result, but if they told the truth, then Americans would object to their heartless policies.

@somethinglikethat2176 BS. There was an unsigned agreement, and the Taliban didn't hold up their part of the deal to stop attacking Afghan forces and to have peace talks with the Afghan government. There wasn't any obligation to hold our part of agreement if the Taliban didn't hold up theirs. Biden gave the Taliban everything they wanted with nothing in return, and then he deflected all the blame onto the Trump administration and the US's military generals. It was shameful and embarrassing. I personally think Trump would have abandoned the Afghans too, but I have a hard time imaging anyone screwing up the withdraw as bad as Biden did.

That would be the preference, but India has shown to be unreliable. India won't even do a basic good will gesture such as a crack down on the scam calls that have been conning America's elderly population out of $billions. Their corrupt politicians are probably getting a cut.
