Seems like a failure as a policy. They don't have the Chinese support to stop Chinese encroachment and they don't have the US support as a counterbalance.

@Pierre In Obviously European imports fund Putin's regime, and that is why the EU is quickly moving to more expensive alternatives to cut off that revenue. Meanwhile, Modi is increasing trade with Russia like an opportunistic leach trying to profit from the suffering of the Ukrainian people.

@Pierre In Non aligned is a fancy way of saying indifferent to the suffering of others. Modi is as noble as Switzerland who remained non aligned during WW2 as they profited from Nazi gold and stolen Jewish art. Also, it isn't a great argument to say the profiting from Russian massacres of civilians is okay, because it only a few $billions.

@Raghavendra6546 How clueless are you? You are asking why Europe doesn't just shut down their energy use for a year? They should just stop food production and factories? Should the hospitals run without power? Should trucks stop delivering food and medicine too? EU will and is paying a higher prices for energy to support Ukrainians. It is just stupid to stop the gas cold turkey. Meanwhile, vultures in India are expanding trade with Russia, so Putin can buy more bombs to drop on hospitals.
