@Little-chilli China has mostly closed off their economy from the outside, so a Chinese economic slump won't effect the world economy like America did in 2008. Also, the Chinese need to export cheap consumer goods more than people actually need cheap consumer goods.

@Little-chilli Only 2% of global trade is done in the yuan and half of that is between Hong Kong and the Mainland. Meanwhile, you have strict capital controls to prevent Chinese citizens from dumping the worthless local currency for the dollar and Euro. It is hysterical how Chinese and Russian propagandist talk about the downfall of the dollar while showing desperation to get as much foreign reserves as they can.

@Little-chilli Even using China government exaggerated GDP data, the US worker is 6.3 times more productive than a Chinese worker. Meanwhile, China is facing a worst problem than inflation: deflation. This is happening because even your fellow citizens don't believe the Chinese economy is good shape, so they are terrified to spend money.
