@theotherohlourdespadua1131 Marvel doesn't have the smartest writers. America's economy is still having logistical issues, because too many boomers with special skills retired at once. A massive reduction of the workforce with a growing retired population to support is a massive issue for any country.

@Jadefox32 It costs about a $million/child to raise a child in a developed country, so as a society gets richer, the less children they choose to have. Large amounts of debt and economic uncertainty also encourage people to delay having children. This is universal on every continent with the exception of African that has a stigma against birth control. Frankly, anyone who chooses to have more than two kids when they can't afford cars for those kids or to save for money so their kids cam go to college without debt are having kids to feed their own vanity.
